MOTA is an electronic music artist based in Barcelona.
This project focused on the visual design of a vinyl release conceived from the loss of his dog, his closest companion.
SYSTEM
Original images of the dog form the core of the composition: photographs, scanned elements such as a nose and a paw print.
White is used deliberately as a dominant color as a structural symbol of purity and absence.
Elements are isolated, digitized, and recomposed. Meaning emerges through trace, reduction, and restraint.
CONTEXT
What is emotionally central is never shown as a portrait, but through fragments and marks.
A quiet, deliberate tribute built without narrative excess.
